Looney: Jan. 1 Brings More Clarity—And A Reduction Appeal—to Troubling Hospital Facility Fees

Senate President Martin M. Looney (D-New Haven) said today that he welcomes a new January 1, 2016 state law that will bring welcome change to the troubling issue of rampant hospital “facility fees” being charged to Connecticut residents by most all private hospitals—even for procedures that do not even take place in the hospital.
